Today we discussed Writing the Paragraph which includes four different kinds of pararaphs: Introductory, Developmental, Transitional, and Concluding. There are two effective patterns, A and B. Pattern A states the controlling idea, the topic sentence, and develops it; Pattern B adds a concluding sentence folowing the development. We had a review of what is going to be on our test on October 4th. I am glad that we had a review of the material so that I would not be surprised of what is on the test.
