What's your name?

I just finished with the moodle room, and decided to do my blog now, but while I wrote my reply on moodle, I couldn't help but wonder, why the author chooses the names he or she does when writing a text book. Do, they get one of those baby name books, and just put their finger on some random name while some other person flips through the pages, or do they just pull a name out of a hat? Where do names come from? Have you ever just said your name and thought of the way it sounds? It may seem weird, but what made us decide to put these sounds together to mean this thing?
Other than that, we were supposed to reply on our perception of Leah's essay and how she did it. I thought that she did a very good job, and I believe that I would not have followed the writing process, but still have done well.

  1. I never really thought about that either. Maybe they use a name that fits with the story.
