She thought she wanted it, but she was WONG!
Wong is a Chinese-American girl, who wants to be just an American girl. She attends public school, but after, attends Chinese school. She has to write, read and speak Chinese. She dislikes many things about her culture. The food, the smell, the way they talk. She just wanted to be "normal". Wong's brother influenced her more because he was more into Americanization than she was. Wong was later permitted to stop going to Chinese school. She was happy about it. On the other hand, Wong was sad because the Chinese school was already part of her life.

ReplyDeleteYour title is so funny. It makes me laugh. I love cookie cake. It is so delicious and mouth watering. It is a combination of both cookie and cake. Whoever made this phenominal baked good, should be given the nobel peace award. Because a life with no cookie cake, is not even a life at all.
